As a soloist, she has captivated audiences in prominent concert venues across the United States, France, Puerto Rico, and South Korea. She holds a Doctor of Music degree from Florida State University, a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Music degree from Ewha Women's University.

In recognition of her talent, Jeong Yun has earned top honors at international competitions such as American Protégé Music Competition, Florida Keys International Music Competition, Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition, Charleston International Music Competition, Royal Sound Music Competition in Montreal, and Ars Nova Competition in South Korea. Her artistry has been acknowledged and celebrated, leading to her performances at the Weill Recital Hall at the Carnegie Hall, Shalin Liu Performance Center, T. Earl Hinton Music Hall, Opperman Music Hall, and Sejong Center for the Performing arts..
